Let's start by saying that, while I have been trying to be more decisive in my life, that doesn't seem to spill over into my (lack of) interest in learning HTML, which of course is the cause of my static, and altogether boring, weblog design. Sorry about that, folks. Anyhow, if I want my link to be higher on Chris' page, I hafta blog more often? Even with nothing on my mind? Kindo' reminds me of Mr. Eskew and his "Number One PC" distinction for D & D--yet another capricious ranking system churned out by my friends. I wonder what would happen if Evans started blogging? That stat-crazed fool would have us all cross-ranked on several different attributes, with probably a game like Fantasy Baseball where you could pick Liz, Dave, and JimA, for instance, and get points for their performances. Yeesh! I have nothing to add on the Pacers, except that Shaq will not have another game like last night, and Reggie won't either. The give-and-take in points there alone is enough to put the Pacers over the top. The fun part is that I get to watch game 2 in the comfort of Spab's place in the City of Fig Boulders. I am heading up there tomorrow night for to go to the wedding of Tom Carroll and Michelle Tucker. How cool is that? Bill is my date for the affair, and it looks like Motorgrrl will be joining us as well. Should be a gas.
My new favorite brew is anything from Goodfellows Brewery, a tremendously small microbrewery run out of a barn in the town of Whitehall, which is about 15 miles west of my fair city. The owner pours out free samples in his tap room, but can't sell for consumption on the premises, due to Indiana law. He also can't sell on Sunday, even though wineries can and do. Does god look more favorably on wine than beer? Does he really think that people are getting that wine to dip their hosts in? If it's all the same, I'll get some pretzels to drink my Goodfellows with on Sundays....
Happy late birthday, Liz. I didn't know until now. You are a good egg. I look forward to yer summer visit. Here's yer b-day haiku from me:
Cheers for once again
Your Solar Revolution
A marvelous feat
